Kolkata After the Maoists put up posters against the CPM-led state government, several posters against the Maoists were found in Jhargram on Saturday.

Thirteen demands from the Maoists were listed in the posters, which reportedly have been circulated by one Maobadi Daman Sena (Maoists Resistance Soldiers). The posters were found in several places, including markets, schools, court and police stations.

A senior police officer said: “We have no clue which organisation has started circulating the posters. We are probing the matter. We have collected a few posters.”

Some of the demands:

* The Maoists have to stop their murderous activities in the Jangalmahal area

* They have to return the money and rice which have been extorted from the villagers

* The tribals who have lost their houses in the crossfire have to be compensated

* The licenced arms and mobile phones of the villagers which were forcibly taken away have to be returned

* They have to stop providing arms training to the children of tribal villagers

* The Maoists have to stop torture on women
