Pune, February 16 PMPML has introduced a series of pilot projects to improve channels of communication with passengers and establish a user-friendly approach, beginning with the Katraj depot.

Feedback forms have been made available at Katraj. Passengers will be able to report back to the authorities on whether the bus is clean, on time, whether the route boards are in order, if the ladies seats are being left to the women and about the behaviour of the bus drivers and conductors.

“The forms are available with the driver and the conductor. This feedback will come directly to the management. It is being implemented beginning Friday,” said D A Pardeshi, PRO. Further, thirty new buses of this depot will carry the telephone numbers of the PRO and the depot manager on which passengers will be able to provide instant feedback.

The Katraj depot has also introduced new route boards. “In all 10 buses of the depot will carry new route boards that will have information of at least 10 other routes,” Pardeshi said.

Also, PMPML has introduced a scheme beginning Friday, where passengers will receive Rs 100 if they catch a bus traveling without a route board. “All they have to do is take a picture and give it to us. And they can collect Rs 100,” Pardeshi said.
