NRI woman robbed of cash, credit cards in Goregaon

Mumbai, March 3 Officers of the Goregaon East police station are conducting inquiries into a case of robbery that occurred on Monday at around 5.30 pm on the Western Express Highway.

According to the police, the victim, one Reema Nandani (30), an NRI, was traveling in an autorickshaw on the highway in Goregaon when two men sitting on a two-wheeler went past her and snatched away her bag containing her passport, two credit cards and Rs 46,000.

“We have registered a case of robbery in the matter and are conducting inquiries into the case based on the description of the two men given by the victim. From her description, it seems that the two accused were in their twenties,” said an official from the Goregaon East police station.
