Pune The Dholakia Group of Mumbai has launched its third hotel, and its first one in Pune, at Hinjewadi - The Orritel Hotel & Service Apartments, for business and leisure travelers. In the same property, Orritel has launched the group's Rudra Spa, which is already a well-known brand in Mumbai.

"We are promoting a new concept – that of an urban resort, in each of our Orritel Hotels, including the one at Hinjewadi. People normally drive atleast three to fours hours to a hill-station from a city like Mumbai or Pune. After reaching the hill-station they laze around mainly at the poolside, and enjoy the serene surroundings of the hill-station. We are offering the same tranquil surroundings at our hotel at Hinjewadi as well as at Andheri, so people don't have to drive for long hours," said Amit Dholakia, MD, Dholakia Group, in a release.

The Pune hotel has 60 executive rooms and 12 executive suites, plus three grand row houses, with three bedrooms each.

It has a conference room with a capacity of 100 persons and an open-air banquet facility, with an inhouse event management and logistics solutions division for corporate gatherings as well as weddings and parties. Orritel also boasts of a health club, 'Fitness Alchemy', with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

The Ammbir multi-cuisine restaurant will provide an international experience in fine dining, while the Bidi Bar, a first of its kind swinging bar with live performances by renowned DJs, the release stated.

The Rs 25 crores Dholakia Group has also started the Amara boutique at M.G. Road. Strategically located in the heart of the city, the 3,500 sqft spacious showroom of Pune boasts of the best collections of over 40 designers from all over India, the release added.
