Osteopathy camp held at Ambala Cantt

Ambala, January 5 A Two-day osteopathy camp at Sarvatra Sainik Institute in Ambala Cantonment was inaugurated by the Kharga AWWA president Bharati Singh here on Saturday. The noted osteopath, Dr GL Parashar, conducted the camp along with his team. Bharati said the main aim of the medical camp was to generate awareness about osteopathy and to treat patients suffering from chronic diseases.

Dr Parashar said that osteopathy was distinctive and a complete system of health care and provides treatment to a variety of common ailments including asthma, back and neck pain, chronic fatigue, joint pains, repetitive strain injury, postural problems caused by driving or strain, arthritis and sports injury. He said it also helps in detecting the damaged parts of the body such as muscles, ligaments, nerves and joints.

The camp was organised free of cost as a welfare measure for troops and families of Kharga Corps at Ambala Cantonment.
