Hafed has procured 7.45 lakh tonnes, Food and Supplies Department has procured 5.22 lakh tonnes, Haryana Agro Industries Corporation, 1.80 lakh tonnes, HWC 67,189 tonnes, FCI 8,454 tonnes and Confed has purchased 2.35 lakh tonnes of paddy.
Kurukshetra district lead with the arrival of 6.76 lakh tonnes, followed by Karnal 5.76 lakh tonnes, Fatehabad 4.33 lakh tonnes, Kaithal 3.80 lakh tonnes, Ambala 3.14 lakh, Yamunanagar 2.36 lakh tonnes, Jind 2.07 lakh tonnes, Sirsa 1.63 lakh tonnes, Panipat 1.42 lakh tonnes, Faridabad 91,186 tonnes, Sonepat 75,243 tonnes, Panchkula 43,890 tonnes, Hisar 36,756 tonnes, Rohtak 12,964 tonnes and Mewat 7,574 tonnes of paddy.
Similarly, 3.31 lakh metric tonnes of Bajra arrived in the mandis during the current Kharif season. Out of the total Bajra arrival, 3.11 lakh metric tonnes has been procured by the government agencies at the minimum support price and the remaining, about 20,126 metric tonnes, has been purchased by the private traders.
