For business people who want to check in at Noida, there is one more place beyond Radisson MBD, Mosaic and Lemon Tree — The Park Plaza. The four-star hotel that has opened doors in Sector 55 brings in all the trappings of a glossy environ — huge bay windows, glass panels and a sprinkling of modern art that add charm to the hotel’s lobby and its 88 rooms, of which 56 are ready.

A suite with double occupancy comes for Rs 28,000, plus taxes, with breakfast, a bottle of wine and transport from the airport thrown in. A double-occupancy room costs

Rs 13,000, plus taxes. The lobby overlooks the hotel’s signature coffee shop New Town Café. Thin-crust pizzas are on offer, with a wood-fired oven being the centrepiece of the glass-enclosed kitchen. Breakfast includes skillets of fried eggs, ham and bell peppers at Rs 245 and health shakes for Rs 155. The other meals offer a multi-cuisine buffet at Rs 749, but if you stick to just soups and salad you shell out Rs 200 less.

The hotel scores several brownie points over its Gurgaon branch. There is a pastry shop called Cakewalk with jumbo fruit cakes and gooey blocks of chocolate truffle cake priced at Rs 650. The Great Kebab Factory is tucked away on the terrace, which also have a fitness centre and a swimming pool. The restaurant is open only for dinners.
