Pbi varsity V-C for ‘Punjabi activism’

Patiala Punjabi University Vice-Chancellor Jaspal Singh introduced the novel concept of 'Punjabi activism' on the lines of judicial activism to trigger off speedy and multi-dimensional development of the language. Jaspal Singh presided over the silver jubilee International Punjabi Development Conference on 'Punjabi Language, Literature and Culture: Present and Future', being organised by the university's Department of Development of Punjabi Languages at the Science auditorium here on Tuesday. He said efforts would also made to see that Punjabi becomes the language of sarkar, rozgaar and parivar (government, employment and family).
