PCB Piezotronics launches new WFTs

Pune PCB Piezotronics Inc, a manufacturer of vehicle sensors and partners Structure Solution Private Limited launched series 5400 Wheel Force Transducers (WFT), for road load data acquisition application at the Symposium on International Automotive Technology- 2009 organised at Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) on Friday. WFT are designed as rugged one-piece sensors to be mounted between the vehicle hub and the wheel rim, delivering accurate road load data measurement. The sensors are available in wide variety of sizes for vehicles including passenger cars, heavy vehicles, and military vehicles among others. The WFTs, available in lightweight aluminum, high-strength stainless steel and titanium, help in developing stability control, brake systems, suspension and tires.

Piezotronics Inc is based in USA and manufactures force, torque, load, strain, pressure, acoustic and vibration sensors, and ICP technology. Structural Solution Private Limited is engaged in offering products and system solutions to Indian automotive, defence, space, aerospace and institutional R&D market segments.
