PCNTDA presents surplus budget of Rs 678 crore

The Pimpri-Chinchwad New Township Development Authority (PCNTDA) presented its 2009-10 budget of Rs 678.12 crore with a surplus amount of Rs 423 crore on Friday. PCNTDA chief executive officer Suhas Divase presented the budget to president Dilip Band.

Residential Township, Middle Income Group (MIG) and Low Income Group (LIG) of 15,000 housing project on Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis at sector 12 on 58-hector land is one of the peculiar feature of the budget. Transforming nullahs into green zones, Sanskritik Hall for various functions at Pradhikaran Sector 25, spine road completion, foot over bridge at Akurdi railway station, eco-friendly office for PCNTDA, Sports training centers with sports complex and theme parks for children are other feature of the PCNDA budget.
