PDCA invites applications for Kohinoor Karandak

Pune Poona District Cricket Association (PDCA) has invited application for the second edition of the Kohinoor Karandak under-14 inter school cricket tournament from various schools. The championship will be sponsored by Kohinoor Group, said Krishnakumar Goel, chairman Kohinoor Group. Kohinoor Karandak will be two day matches (four innings) played with adherence to the international rules and standards.

The aim of the tournament is to identify talented players and give them scholarships of Rs 6,000, which would be called as Kohinoor Scholarship The scholarship will be awarded to the five best players of the tournament. Each matchesw played will seea man of the match trophy being declared. The tournament is open only for the schools in Pune and PCMC jurisdiction. Players born on or after 1/9/1995 are eligible to participate in the tournament.

The last date for the schools to resister their entries is February 12. To register entries the schools can contact Yashwant Bhujbal on 9011070110.
