A feast of dance and music comes your way this week with The Shaniwarwada Dance Festival 2008 that is scheduled to take place on February 16 and 17 at the Shaniwarwada lawns. With the idea of promoting local talent, this year the Shaniwarwada Dance Festival committee has invited four local dance schools, Academy of Indian Dances, Kalanidhi, Kalavardhini and Maneesha Nrityalaya. The schools will present their choreographed items on February 16; whereas, February 17 will see Padma Vibhushan Sonal Mansingh and Abhijit Pohankar presenting a fusion of Odissi and new age music respectively, called Moksha.
