As the PIFF awards were declared, Mexican film Lake Tahoe won the Prabhat prize for the best international film. Prabhat best director award went to Sergey Dvortsevoy of Kazakhstan for his film Tulpan, Nadine Labaki won the best actor award. Gabhricha Paus (The Damned Rain) directed by Satish Manvar won Sant Tukaram best Marathi international film award. Paresh Mokashi (best director), Kishor Kadam (best actor) and Sachin Kundalkar (best screenplay) won the Akhil Bharatiya Chitrapat Mahamandal’s awards. In the students’ category, Deepti Gogna of FTII won best director award for her short film Narmeen. Marathi films Gho Mala Asa Hava and Jogva won the special jury award
