Plastic surgery wing opens at Bassi hospital

Ludhiana, February 13 AIMC Bassi Hospital, a multi speciality hospital and a tertiary-care centre, run by Dr Naresh Bassi and Dr Madhu Bassi here has started plastic surgery wing on the occasion of 23rd anniversary of the hospital at Tagore Nagar. The unit is headed by Dr Sudhir Mehta (M.Ch Plastic Surgery), who was earlier working at Maulana Azad Medical college and Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi.

This department will cover all specialties of plastic surgery under one roof like cosmetic surgery, which is much more in demand and will cover procedures like hair transplantation, rhinoplasty for nose, ,melenocyte transfer for vitiligo, aerthetic surgery of external genitila, liposuction and body contouring, scar revisions, cosmetic surgery of breast, scarless surgery for male breast etc, informed Dr Naresh Bassi. Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, MP, hailed the opening of the new facility while inaugurating the department.
