Comedy has a way to appeal to large audience and Seduction, a play by city-based theatre group, Virasat, was no different. Organised at Punjab Kala Bhawan, Sector 16, on Tuesday, it portrayed the ups and downs of relationships, love, need and lust to perfection. Based on the human psychology, the play questions the morality and sanctity of a married life. It is based around three main characters — Peter, Nikkie and Rubina. While, the latter two share a strained married life,

Peter is a renowned flirt, who takes pride in seducing rich, married women. In the play, Peter uses Nikkie as a source to seduce Nikkie’s wife, Rubina.

The plot is well-knit and keeps the audience engrossed till the very last moment. In the play, while Sunil Sharma, plays the innocent and foolish husband Nikkie, Rajan Sehgal and Ratinder Kaur act as Peter and Rubina, respectively. The director of the play is Ashu Sharma and the music is by Vijay.
