PMPML employees to be felicitated on R-Day

Pune On the occasion of Republic Day on Monday, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) will honour its employees, who did an exceptional service in previous last year. As a token of admiration, some of them will be given cash prizes.

The list of awardees include Shrinivas Sidram Gaddam, a bus conductor, who displayed presence of mind and rescued passengers from a bus taking care that they did not step on the high tension electricity cables, after the bus collided against an electric pole. The incident took place on February 18.

Likewise, another bus conductor on contract Sachin Subhash Khopde had showed truthfulness, when he traced the passenger, who had forgotten his valuables on his seat. A bus driver on contract, Prabhakar Eknath Lashkare, also will be honoured for his display of presence of mind and bravery, when he found that his bus had lost brakes. Santosh Prakash Gire will also be felicitated.

Other PMPML employees working in different departments, including Madhukar Gaikawad, Pradeep Gholap, Laxman Ramu Kale, Devidas Shankar Chavan, Sanjay Rajaram Kusalkar, Bhagwan Gaikawad, Sanjay Dherange will also be felicitated.
