A fight broke out between independent Councillor from Bawana Narayan Singh and Congress MLA Surinder Kumar around two hours after the inauguration of a rural road between Narela and Bawana on Tuesday. Both Singh and Kumar have filed police complaints at the Bawana police station but no FIR has been lodged as yet.

The councillor said that after the inauguration of the road construction, the Congress MLA came with his supporters and began indulging in violence. He said that Kumar manhandled him and broke his teeth.

Kumar, however, said, “Since Narayan Singh is known to pick up fights, I allowed him to do the inauguration and went there two hours later. But he picked up a fight with me as soon as I reached there and I sustained some injuries.”
