Pregnant lady attacked, valuables stolen

Pune A pregnant lady, Namrata Sandeepsingh Sidhu (27), was robbed after being hit with a stone on her head by an unidentified person at a garden located on Prabhat Road. The incident occurred between 7.30 and 7.45 pm on Tuesday.The thief snatched her purse and a mobile phone, both valued at around Rs. 10,200, as she lay injured in the garden premises. Sidhu is a resident of Model Colony. She was staying for a past few days at her sister’s residence on Prabhat road. Police officials said that she has registered a complaint with the Deccan police after undergoing treatment at the hospital. Assistant Police Inspector Manohar Kulkarni is investigating the case.
