Surat, January 7 A quarrel between some youth and guards of SISA security services during a live music concert of singer Himesh Reshammiya on Sunday night turned violent this morning when the former stabbed a guard and severely beat up two others at Ghod Dod Road area of the city.

The victims— Pramod Kondya, Karansingh Rajput and Akbhar Pathan— have been admitted to the New Life Hospital, where their condition is reported to be out of danger.

Pramod has lodged a complaint against four unidentified youth at Umra police station. Inspector R S Patel said, “We have taken statements of the shop owner and some of the people who were standing nearby.

Two youth have been identified and we have launched a search operation to nab them. They wanted to take revenge of the Sunday night issue that took place during Himesh’s show. They hatched a plan and waited outside security guards’ residents at God Dod road area and attacked when they got a chance.”

The incident occurred when some persons tried to climb the stage where Himesh was performing at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Piplod. But guards stopped them, which resulted in a brawl between them. Then the guards beat them up with wooden sticks following which the youth left.

On Monday morning, the guards, all residents of Adarsh Nagar society, went to a general store to purchase some items. Soon, four persons, two armed with knife, came and started arguing with the guards and stabbed Karansingh and beat up Pramod and Akbar with fists and kicks before fleeing from the scene.
