Kolkata The Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) cricket camp at the Calcutta Football & Cricket Club (CCFC) was in for a major surprise on Monday afternoon when Priyanka Todi dropped in and met Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Pakistani cricket legend Wasim Akram.

She is the wife of computer graphics designer Rizwanur Rehman, whose body was found by the railway tracks at Patipukur near Dum Dum in 2008.

It is rumoured that the Todi family, which had a lengthy meeting with Khan on the sidelines of the ongoing camp at the CCFC, may have plans to buy a stake in the KKR franchise, which is co-owned by the Bollywood actor. Sources in the Knight Riders franchise however denied there is any such development.

Priyanka, who has been keeping an extremely low profile ever since the death of her husband snowballed into a major storm, showed up at the camp with her father Ashok Todi and uncle Pradeep Todi. The photo here shows Priyanka in the background, while Akram and Shah Rukh are discussing a point or two with KKR team director Joy Bhattacharya. On the far right in the background, Ashok and Pradeep Todi are seen talking to each other.

Khan visited the week-long camp this afternoon, and apart from keeping a close watch on the cricketers going through the paces, he was also seen catching up with the three Todis in a long meeting at CCFC after the day’s proceedings.
