The prestigious event now in its 13th year is the only stand-alone Pro-Am on the Indian professional golf circuit and undoubtedly the most-looked-forward-to event on the corporate calendar.

The top five professionals on the current PGTI Order of Merit — Lam Chih Bing, Digvijay Singh, Rahul Ganapathy, Mukesh Kumar and Shamim Khan have confirmed their entries in a total of over 22 professionals vying for honours. Defending champion and No.1 on the PGTI Order of Merit Ashok Kumar will be looking to retaining his title. For the first time ever, a lady professional — Shalini Malik who played the Ladies Masters in December last year — will also be seen in action.

The four-venue event teed off in Bangalore and covered Kolkata and Mumbai before reaching for its final stop in Delhi. The respective winners from each City will also be seen in action in the Grand Finale.

With total prize money of Rs. 12 lacs for the event, it’s a great opportunity for one of the 22 Pros to walk away with a maximum of Rs. 330,000 (including appearance money) just for making the effort of playing 36 holes. And while the professionals will be playing for prize money, some gala prizes await the amateurs with the winning team (three amateurs) getting an all expense paid trip for a couple to South Africa, courtesy Sun International and South African Airways.
