Chandigarh, February 24 The students of Department of Laws, Panjab University, are starting an organization, Panjab University Law Students Endeavour (PULSE), which would initiate various activities.

The students would hold moot courts, start a journal and form an alumni association.

Sapan Sharma, a student of the second year, says that the activities to be performed by the organisation would be under three broad heads. A team of students would be holding moot court sessions. Students would be sent for competitions held all over the country.

The department is all set to form an alumni association. The most recent batches are being contacted for the same.

Sharma informs that gradually a network of former students would be formed. “We are in touch with the most recent batches. Eventually more former students can be contacted. In fact a large number of prominent lawyers in the city are from the department. The present students would be benefitted from their experience,” he said.

The students would also bring out their own journal. The monthly journal would contain an account of events in the department and the university.
