Chowrasia shot a level par round—three birdies, three bogeys—to be on eight-under 208 after three rounds.
Australian Craig McLean shot the best round of the day, bettering Ganapathy by one, to jump up to third place. He is two shots adrift of Chowrasia.
Ganapathy really came to life on the back nine. After a birdie on the par-5 ninth, he saved a shot each on the 11th, 12th, 14th, 16th and the 18th, where he missed an eagle by inches. Digvijay Singh, Anura Rohana, Vijay Kumar and Gaganjeet Bhullar are tied for fourth at an aggregate five-under 211.
