Randeep Sandhu honoured

Ludhiana, March 6 Punjab Cultural Society today honoured Randeep Sandhu, the president-elect of Calganj (Canada) branch today, at Hotel Majestic Park Plaza. Speaking on the occasion, chairman of the society Jagpal Singh Khangura said that our youth will be able to give up the various addictions only through involvement in cultural activities and sports.

He added that their organisation will make the Punjabis worldwide come together, by organising rich cultural activities. President of the organisation Ravinder Rangowal added that many camps have been organised for promoting Punjabi culture, and their society is committed to making the society free of drugs.

The new president elect Randeep Sandhu said that he enjoyed a close rapport with the members of the society, and they all would work together to achieve their common aims. Harbans Singh Kanwal, former mayor of Hounslow, Prof Gurnam Singh, Didarjit Singh Lotey (secretary), Kulwant Singh Sall, Ranjit Singh Mangat, Jasvir Singh Dahelay, Jaswinder Singh Makhan, Gagandeep Singh , Kuldeep Singh Sidhu, Kuljeet Singh Rickey and Ahla Singh Swaich were also present at the function.
