Ravi bowls Supreme Club to victory

Lucknow A five wicket haul by Ravi Gupta helped Supreme Cricket Club in defeating Abhijeet Sinha Cricket Academy (ASCA) by nine wickets in their knock-out stage match of the First Games Promotion Cricket Trophy at the LDA Stadium here on Friday. Ravi claimed the five wickets giving away 18 runs in his 6.2 over spell which featured a maiden over as well.

Brief Scores: ASCA XI: 124 all out in 32.2 overs ( Sudhanshu Negi 26, Manu Pathak 25, Sandeep Kushwaha 18, Abhijeet Sinha 11; Ravi Gupta 5 for 18, Sumit Trivedi 2 for 18, Abhishek Yadav 1 for 31);Supreme Club: 125 for one in 17.5 overs ( Atul Yadav 54 not out, Abhishek Yadav 29, Ravi Gupta 21 not out; Prashant Sharma 1 for 19).

Big win for UP Timber

THE team of UP Timber registered an impressive 85 run victory against Mini Mount XI in their league match of the Ajooba Khatoon Memorial Cricket Tournament at RDSO Stadium here on Friday.

UP wushuists excel

UP team claimed 4 golds, 4 silvers and 2 bronze to occupy the third spot in the 17th senior national wushu championship held at Maharashtra from February 1 to 6. Manipur emerged champion while CRPF clinched the runners-up trophy.
