Ravi to meet Kunal in final

Panchkula, January 19 Ravi Singla (Haryana) and Kunal Bhida (Maharashtra) will lock horns with each other in the finals of boys' under-19 category of 53 rd National School Games (Badminton) gets underway at Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex, Sector 3 here on Saturday.

Kunal got the better of K Nand Gopal (Andhra Pradesh) 21-15, 21-13 while Ravi Singla outclassed M.R. Mani (Tamil Nadu) 21-16, 21-16 in the semifinals.

In the girls' category (under-19), Tulsi (Kerela) and Vaishali (Gujarat) defeated Ankita Ashok of Karnataka (13-12, 23-21, 21-17) and Pallavi Aggarwal of Haryana (21-14, 21-14), respectively to storm into the finals.

Girls Under 14 (Semi-Final): Leela Luxmi (A.P.) b Aishani Sheth (Gujarat) 21-15, 21-10; D.Sudha (A.P.) b Ria Pillai (Maharaashtra) 21-15, 21-12.

Boys (Under-14 Semi-Final): Rajas (Karnataka) b Kanwaljeet Singh (Punjab) 24-22, 21-18; S.K. Khaja (A.P.) b Rupinder Singh (Punjab) 21-17, 21-10.
