RCBC Tennis: Amruta Zadge scores exciting win to enter last four

Pune Amruta Zadge scored an exciting victory, accounting for Kanishka Chawla 7-6 (12-10) to enter the last four stage of Girls under 12 event at the 16th edition of RCBC Open Junior Tennis Championships being played at the RCBC tennis courts. In another interesting match Adarsh Jalan went down fighting to an experienced Kushal Mulay 7-6(7-5) in a boys under 14 pre quarterfinal.

Results:

Boys under 14 (Pre quarters): Divyat Rungta bt Ved Bhandare 7-2; Anish Salelkar bt Vishwajeet Paradkar 7-4; Mrunal Shah bt Aniket Barwekar

7-2; Kushal Mulay bt Adarsh Jalan 7-6(7-5); Nigel Lobo bt Vedant Girme 7-1

Boys under 10 (pre Quarterfinals): Advait kane bt Surendra Nimhan 6-3;

Vikram Patil bt Rohan Bhoge 6-2; Manav Peshwani bt Apurva Ringangaonkar 6-2; Atharva Ghatpande bt Vismit Agarwal 6-2.

Boys under 12 (pre Quarterfinals): Allan Lobo bt Tarush Agarwal 7-3; Sharan Rajani bt Pranav Sethi 7-4; Kaustubh deokar bt Aditya Inamdar 7-2; Prajit Oswal bt Vyenkatesh Acharya 7-2.

Girls under 12 (Quarterfinals): Amruta Zadge bt Kanishka Chawla 7-6 (12-10); Suprabha Pujari bt Siddi KAme 7-0; Saloni Ghodke w/o Krutika Kalbhor; Vaibhavi Kachawa leads Stuti Mary 3-0 (Match unfinished).
