A brainchild of Vice-Chancellor Professor R C Sobti, the system will be effective from the coming academic session onwards and can be availed of after paying a nominal fee. A committee has already been constituted to look into the proposal and will also decide on the fee to charged for the service. Earlier, students had to file for revaluation within 10 days of the result being declared and took long to come through. This affected many as those applying for a course could not produce their result on time.
The university also plans to extend this facility to the issuance of migration certificates, which is sent through post at present.
