Residents meet Mayor to discuss problems

Chandigarh, March 4 Around 60 representatives of 45 residents’ welfare associations under the banner of Federation of Sectors Welfare Association today met Mayor Pardeep Chhabra. The chairman of FOSWAC, P C Sanghi, led the delegation. During the meeting, a number of problems faced by the residents of Chandigarh and Manimajra were discussed at length. The representatives of residents’ welfare associations highlighted the problems of their respective areas, which were noted down by the officers concerned for further action. The Mayor assured the members to issue a report on action taken by the corporation to rectify the problems discussed in the meeting.
