Resolutions passed in circle conference, office bearers elected

Ludhiana, March 8 On the concluding day of circle conference of National Federation of Telecom Employees BSNL, many resolutions were passed unanimously.

These included pressing upon the government and Department of Telecom to merge 50% DA in basic pay with effect from 2005, second wage revision in BSNL which is due from January 1, 2007 should be finalised without further delay, workers in BSNL should not be transferred without the criterion, transfer policy of corporate office should be adhered to in letter and spirit, adoption of outsourcing and contract hiring should be stopped and regular work should be get done by regular staff.

On this occasion following office-bearers of the federation were also elected: Pritam Singh Saini President; Surjit Singh, Surjit Singh Sodhi, Shangara Singh Dhillon, Ramavadh Rai, Zora Singh and Saroj Vice-Presidents; M.L. Sharma, Onkar Singh, Dinkar Dutt Sharma, Avtar Chand Rana, Drashan Lal, Jagtar Singh circle secretarys; Nirmal Parsad and Rakesh Kumar as Treasurers; Saurabh Chand Bawa, Om Parkash, Paul Masih, Hari Singh, Balwinder Singh, Rajinder Singh, Nand Kishor Organising Secretaries; Kartana Ram Auditor.
