Recently, one Amarjit Singh had hired a rickshaw. On the way, he stopped to make a purchase, leaving behind his bag containing Rs 13,000. When he returned, the rickshaw-puller was missing. A complaint was registered with the police. There have been many such reported and unreported incidents recently involving the rickshaw-pullers.
The police are trying to find the culprits. But since most of them are migrants, the addresses given by them are fake.
