Rose Festival at Chandigarh concludes on a high note

Chandigarh The three-day Chandigarh Rose Festival concluded on Sunday with several attractions, including a painting competition and antakshari. UT Finance Secretary Sanjay Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion.

In group A, the group for children between five and eight years, Aditi Ramsishria came first, Deva Sood received the second prize and Harsh Gupta bagged the third prize.

In group B, for children between 8 and eleven years, Shrukha Ansari bagged the first prize, Arshdeep Kaur and Garima Singh came second and third, respectively.

In group C, with children in between 11 and 14 years, Manisha came first, Kishan Mittal received the second prize and Simarpreet Singh bagged the third prize.

In group D, in the age group of 14 to 17, Sahil Aggarwal bagged the first prize, Sooraj Malik and Akansha Sharma stood second and third, respectively.

In the category of special children, junior group, from five to 11 years of age, first prize was given to Amit Ratan, second to Samta and third to Aashima. In senior group from age 11 to 17 year, Bhavna Rani came first, Kalla Singh second and Rohit Kumar came third.

Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Dr Roshan Sankaria was the chief guest of the antakshri competition. UT Advisor Pradip Mehra was the chief guest on the occasion.
