Rotary Club holds free medical camp

Ludhiana Rotary Club, Ludhiana Central, in association with Shri Nav Durga Mandir Trust, Sarabha Nagar, organised a free medical check-up and blood donation camp in the Trust’s premises on Sunday.

About 400 patients benefitted from the camp and were checked up for heart, dental, oriho, gynecology, eyes and pediatric problems. All tests and ECG were done free-of-cost and medicines were also distributed free.

Specialist doctors like Dr GS Bajwa (eye specialist) from DMCH, Dr Gaurav Sachdeva MD (heart), Dr Brajesh Bdhan DM (heart), Dr HR Bindal (physician), Dr Ritu Chaudhary (gynae), Dr Seema Kakkar (pedetrician), Dr Rashmi Maini (dental), Dr Sanjeev Bhagat (dental) Dr Raman Singla MS (oriho), Dr Deepak Mehta MS (oriho), etc from Mediciti and Shri Nav Durga Mandir Charitable Hospital examined the patients.

The camp was inaugurated by the former district governor of Rotary Dist 3070 PDG, Rotarian SP Sethi from Phagwara, and the blood donation camp was inaugurated by Senior Deputy Mayor Parveen Bansal. Efforts of the

Rotary Club were appreciated by both of them. Fifty units of blood were donated to the blood bank of Shri Krishna Charitable Hospital, Model Town at the blood donation camp.
