According to the Malad police, the unidentified person, entered the residence of Mistry by wrenching the bars of the safety door and breaking open the lock and latch of the main door. He decamped with gold ornaments kept in the cupboard of the bedroom of the house comprising of necklaces, bracelets, mangal sutras and bangles.
“As of now, we have not made any arrests. From the statements given by the complainant, the value of the gold ornaments is around Rs 4 lakh. We are investigating the case,” said Police Inspector Deepak Fatangare of the Malad police station
