Talking to Newsline, Pinto said, “We have approached the state government to give us land for opening Adarsh schools in the state, but have not got a nod for it yet. We have now requested the parents of some wards for arranging a piece of land for opening the school. We hope that we will get it.”
Pinto added that the building of a branch school of Ryan International is under construction in Dugri, but residents have a taken stay order against the construction. She said, “We will wait for the court’s orders for this school.”
Pinto highlighted that Ryan has 107 branches all over India, and in three foreign countries. She said, “Now we are going to touch middle East Asia. I am happy that the people of Ludhiana are highly involved with their children, and take interest in the children’s activities.”
Pinto added that 25 per cent seats of schools are booked for underprivileged, children of widows, and from the families of freedom fighters etc.
