Ludhiana “The SAD-BJP alliance is destroying the state in the name of development,” said national spokesperson of the All-India Congress Committee Manish Tewari today. Addressing two separate meetings organised by the Ludhiana District Congress Committee and the District Youth Congress, Tewari alleged that the SAD-BJP government in the state has been juggling the figures to deceive the people.

Addressing office-bearers during the DCC meeting, Tewari said two years of Akali rule had resulted in rampant corruption. He also sought explanation from Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal, about from where they would get the money to start and implement the projects they were claiming to have launched.

Tiwari further asked them to explain what happened to all the projects which, “we have seen newspaper advertisements that such and such project was launched, but nothing exists on ground”.

He further observed, “Either the SAD-BJP government is launching these projects only on paper, or has been robbing and destroying the state of funds in the name of development.”

Speaking at the District Youth Congress meet, Tewari said that during the campaign, the SAD-BJP has not provided employment even to a single youth.
