Deepak Parekh, Chairperson of HDFC Bank, and the man who has recently been assigned the daunting task of turning around Satyam, won the business leader of the year award. Aamir Khan, a rare vision at award functions was present with wife Kiran Rao, and he accepted the award for entertainer of the year for Taare Zameen Par and Ghajini. “This is a different platform from film award functions,” said Khan, explaining his presence.
