Chief Parliamentary Secretary Harish Rai Dhanda and his wife Vijay Rai Dhanda graced the occasion as the chief guests. The welcome song and shabad by MBA and BCA students marked the start of the program.

Director Dr Vijay Asdhir highlighted the achievements of KIMT during the year and apprised the audience about the various activities of the institute. Dances, rangoli, mehndi, collage making, pakhi decoration, creative writing, declamation, quiz, solo song etc were among the various events.

Adding glitter to the function was the western dance by students of MCA and BCA, which was appreciated by every body. Speaking on the occasion, Dhanda announced a grant of Rs 1 lakh out of his discretionary fund for the infrastructure development of KIMT.

The function concluded with the MBA, MCA and BCA students performing giddha. PPS Grewal, president, Dr SS Grewal, vice president, SS Deol, secretary and Gurdish Singh Grewal, treasurer KIMT graced the occasion along with the dignitaries. Dr RS Gupta, Dean Academics, presented the vote of thanks.The curtain came down with the singing of the national anthem.
