Gurgaon, February 29 A Gurgaon court today sent the accused in the Euro International School shooting case last year to a further 14 days in judicial custody.

The accused, Vikas and Akash Yadav, were brought to court from the Faridabad juvenile observation home.

Akash’s lawyer N K Jain and Vikas’s lawyer Raj Kumar were present at the rather brief hearing, where the judge directed the children be kept in the observation home for another 14 days. The accused have been in judicial custody for five terms—the fifth ended today.

The Gurgaon Police had earlier this week said they were certain to submit the chargesheet in court today, but they failed to do so.

Raghbir Singh, SHO of Sector 40 Police Station, told Newsline that chargesheet was prepared and will be submitted on Monday.

Vikas’s bail plea is pending in the Haryana High Court in Chandigarh after the city court dismissed the same twice.
