Patiala, January 31 The Betterthink Institute in association with DAV Public School, Patiala, organised a seminar on spoken English and essay writing in the school campus. All students of classes ninth and above attended the seminar, wherein their general queries regarding the language were solved.

According to DAV career coordinator, Poonam Singh the seminar will help students get exposure about the correct usage of English. “Our students are taught English right from the junior level but workshops and seminars such as these really help to boost their confidence”, she added.

Monika Verma, in-charge, of the Betterthink programme said that students just need to have a good hand at basic English as grammar was the most important thing when it came to their English. “We can help a student only if they are ready to clear their basics”, she added.
