The programme was conducted by Dr Neena Verma, a renowned management consultant from Chandigarh. Dr. Neena Verma said, “Human is emotional animal and emotions of love, anger, rage, affection, and jealousy surround us. In today’s world, humans have learnt to suppress the emotions, whether good or bad, but they ignore the fact that these would not go anywhere but surround us. If ignored they would cause pain, itching etc.
There are different phases of emotional competence which are numbness, physical sensation, differentiation, verbal barriers, causality, empathy and interactivity, he said.
Every human passes through these phases when emotions are ignored. In the end, she remarked, “Man is bigger than circumstances and emotions deserve one treatment to be lived. An Emotion is like a guest, guest can come for happy reasons and for sorrows as well. The guests deserve respect and hospitality so do our emotions. We should face these emotions with confidence, love, and care and live up to the moment of joy and sorrow.
Anil Kumar, president, LMA, while giving his presidential remarks, said, “Forty three members of the association participated in this programme and felt that such development programmes proved immensely helpful to the members of association.
