Faizabad Seven persons, including five members of a family, died when a jeep collided with a truck in Sultanpur district on Tuesday.

The accident took place in the wee hours at the Sultanpur-Varanasi National Highway (NH-56).

The victims, which included a seven-day-old boy, were identified as Mukhtar Ahmad (60), Rafiullah (65) Rabiya (45), Lado (25), driver Harinam (45) and his son Rahul (20). All were the residents of Rasoolabad village in Sultanpur district.
