Surat, January 19 A seven-year-old girl was kidnapped and raped by an unknown youth in a field in the Puna village area on Friday afternoon. The incident came to light when her father lodged a complaint with Kapodara police station on Saturday.

A youth riding on the motorcycle approached her and told her that her father’s money is with him and he will give her the money from a nearby shop. The accused took her to a lonely field and raped her. He then left her after threatening her with dire consequences.
