According to the Matunga police, the robbers broke into a general store, a kitchen appliances outlet and another hotel in the same complex and stole cash from the money cabinet. “The shopkeepers had shut their shops around 8.30 pm on Sunday, and the robbery must have happened sometime at night. It, however, went undetected despite there being a watchman in the premises,” said a police official. The police are investigating the case.
