Shimla The Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN), a joint venture of the Centre and state government, has announced 100 per cent success in implementing the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) guidelines to check corruption in organisations.

At a panel discussion on ‘Role of Vigilance in PSUs’ on Tuesday, SJVN's Chief Vigilance Officer K C Sadyal said transparency in the decision-making process and integrity of employees handling crucial jobs are important in dealing with corruption.

“SJVN achieved 100 per cent e-procurement in the organisation, eight months ahead of the schedule given by the CVC.

As a thrust on transparency and efficiency, e-evaluation of tenders and documents will be gradually implemented in the corporation," he said.
