SkodaAuto’s third dealer in Pune

Pune SkodaAuto India, a subsidiary of Volkswagen Groud announced on Thursday its new dealership with Pashankar Automotive limited with the opening of Europa Automotive.

Europa Automotive, was inaugurated by Thomas Kuehl, board member, sales and marketing, SkodaAuto India, Ashutosh Dixit, GM, sales, SkodaAuto India and Kapil Pashankar, MD, Europa Auto. SkodaAuto India’s third dealer in Pune, Europa Automotive is located on Dehu Road Bypass in Wakad. In 2008, Skoda Auto sold 16,188 cars in India, registering an increase of 31% over the same period last year.

Speaking at the inauguration, Kuehl said, "We have always received an overwhelming response from our Pune customers. And we are confident that Europa Auto will play a vital role in strengthening our dealer base and continue to enhance the Skoda Customer Care experience. Our expansion strategy is to create a strong authorized dealer network in India to support our growing sales in the region and ensure adequate support for all sales and service functions."

The dealership is equipped with 3S facilities (Sales, Service and Spares) to cater to the complete portfolio of customer's needs.The facility will be capable of servicing 28 cars per day and is targeting a sale of 1,000 cars this year.
