Slide show on Sikhism organised

Ludhiana, January 31 Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle organised a slide show at Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology, Model Town, and Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar.

Satnam Singh Sallopuri, Director Youth Service, spoke of the lives of the ten gurus and their sacrifices. He laid stress on the principles and traditions of the Sikh way of life. On this occasion, about 40 Amritdhari Sikh students were felicitated with medals by Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle.

At Guru Nanak Public School, about 19 students vowed to maintain unshorn hair henceforth. These students were also awarded with medals by the Principal and Vice Principal. R S Gill, the school principal, appreciated the work being done by Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle.
