Singer Raageshwari Loomba, after battling Bell’s palsy (because of which she lost her voice for a year), is basking in her new avatar as a reality show judge on Zee Network’s Klub MJ Hunt. No killer one-liners from her, this chartbuster singer and ex-VJ bats for the participants. “I am a sensitive artist and can’t be harsh like some judges on other reality shows,” says Raageshwari, 31. She adds that she set several clauses in her contract to ensure that she “wasn’t bound to say anything that the channel wanted her to”. “I was there to encourage the participants and it was a very nice experience,” she adds.Coming up next, is a music album that will be a mélange of techno club and Indi-pop sounds. “This one is for youngistaan, with sounds that are hip and contemporary,” says the singer who had India humming Yeh duniya badi rangeeli 12 years ago. She has penned down the lyrics and promises music that will get everybody on the dance floors and keep them there.
