“We require around 6,000 people per year in this sector. The demand for talented people in banking and financial services sector far exceeds the supply. To bridge this gap, we have come out with this tie-up,” said Murali M. Natrajan, regional head-consumer banking, StanChart. “We have different plans for expanding our business for which we will require skilled manpower,” he said. “According to a study, the attrition rate is at least 30 per cent, which clearly highlights the need for skilled manpower in this sector,” said H.
