Tripathi, an MLA from Jaunpur, had lodged an FIR with the Hussainganj police station in Lucknow three days ago about receiving a threatening call. The Lucknow police traced the number and reached the location after collecting the exact details of the caller.
The Jaunpur SOG In-charge, Pradeep Singh Chandel said: “The boy had no problem with the MLA and he had been making the call while playing a prank.”
